Background Info:
History:
Long ago, there was a great war between Asgard, realm of the gods, and the realm of demons that opposed it. In order to win the war, the gods sacrificed themselves and created the Grim Angels, warriors of great power, and entrusted the maintenance of Asgard to the Magi, a council of seven angels. The Grim Angels were victorious over the demons, transforming their world into a peaceful one. However, fearing the Grim Angels would die out before they could be used again, the Magi ordered that they be put in stasis.
Hundreds, or possibly thousands of years later, Hector, one of the Magi, issued two Grim Angels, Ein and Ledah, to go to Riviera, the former demon world, and activate the Retribution, which would destroy it forever, along with everyone on it. However, as they and Ein's familiar, Rose, were about to cross the Heaven's Gate that led there, they were stopped by the guardian of Riviera, Ursula. Ein's memories were sealed, and he was taken to Elendia, a town, by Ursula, having sensed his pure heart.
In time, he learns that greater demons known as Accursed have taken residence across Riviera, and that if he were to destroy them all, Riviera might be saved. Accompanying him in doing so are Fia, a cleric and the elder of Elendia's granddaughter, Lina, an energetic treasure-hunting archer, Serene, the tomboyish last survivor of the Arc race, and Cierra, a rather absentminded witch who happened to cross paths with them.
However, the defeat of the Accursed was unable to satisfy Hector, who then ordered Ledah and another angel, Malice, to attack Yggdrasil, the holy tree, and destroy the Aquariums housed within it. Ein and his friends attempted to defend the tree, but were unsuccessful, even forced to battle against the other two Angels. Ledah, however, came to a realization and threw himself into the way of one of Malice's fatal attacks, telling Ein what he had deduced.
In truth, Hector sought to become the one and only god, overthrowing the entire existing system. He awaited Ein's party at the Maze of Shadows, where by killing and fusing to Ursula's counterpart Seth, his plan would be fulfilled. Ein attacked, but Malice captured Cierra and asked Hector to kill her, giving Hector the last soul he needed to complete his plan. He boasted that Ein didn't stand a chance anymore as he became Seth-Ra.
Ein defeated him anyway. The Maze of Shadows begins to collapse around them...
Personality: Ein was a lot unlike his partner at the beginning of the game, and he still is.
He always at least tries to see the best in people. It may be his place to judge demons, but even they can be worthy of forgiveness - the pair of siblings he spared in Tetyth can attest to that, even though they obstructed and harried him during that part of his quest. However, their first impressions are still important - once it's clear that someone or something will most likely kill him, he will fight back, and he's good at that.
He can often see unconventional solutions to problems, as well; he's defeated quite a few enemies by throwing rocks at them, from nearby or farther away, and there was also that one time he threw a treasure chest at a demon. But if a problem has only a limited number of solutions, he'll be able to see those, too... if he can solve them right away, that is. He keeps unsolved problems and requests at the back of his mind. And more often than not he'll be able to do something about those eventually.
In addition, he has a strong will and a good grasp on what the right thing to do is. If he were more duty-bound he might not have turned against Hector. Granted, Ursula mind-wiping him did help a lot with that, but the only reason she did that was because of what she picked up about Ein.
He gave up his wings to obtain his Diviner, Einherjar. While sometimes he's missed them, ultimately he believes he made the right choice.
Game Specific:
Arcana: Judgment
Justification: Positive aspects: At this point, Ein has awakened to his true calling, to judge not based on good and evil, and not merely the law. Not too long beforehand, he realizes, and accepts his mistake at the beginning of his journey, his being blinded by his sense of duty. And soon he will have to make an important decision. What is he going to do with the rest of his life?
Negative or Reverse aspects: He finds himself questioning why Cierra had to die, outright stating a sense of loss and separation, but also perhaps implying a twinge of guilt.

First Person Sample:
[Wandering through the city today is a young man.
The sights of Prospero are of a kind he'd never even imagined, and he idly wonders why there don't seem to be any people around. Until he spots you, of course.
At that point, he starts running towards you, happy to see someone. His eyes are full of life, but he's nervous. He must have come out of something important...]
What happened, where is this?
[The tension in his voice is impossible to hide, but he's trying his best to.]
Are my friends okay? Please, I need to know if you've seen them!
Third Person Sample:
The green glow cast over the city gave it a more oppressive feel than it had during the day, or even than ten minutes ago. Ein walked through it, occasionally stepping in a stray pool of blood, but always scanning for anything that could be useful or dangerous. His sword was stowed away, as he was accustomed to drawing it at the outbreak of battle.
That moment came all too soon, as a creeping black shape approached him, claws madly waving. It was all too clear that this... thing... was most likely a Shadow, and meant to kill him. He had no choice but to fight... and fight he would.
It was a weak opponent, and as he put his sword away once again he realized he'd never fought alone before. It was a strange feeling, realizing that you had no backup were you to fall. He didn't want that to happen.
He wanted to be with someone.
